Dowbuilt is adding a Talent Acquisition Lead to our East Coast team. This position ensures Dowbuilt consistently attracts, engages, and hires exceptional talent in our East Coast region and as needed, across the company. This role leads full-cycle recruitment for a diverse range of positions, from entry level to highly skilled field trades to leadership roles—while remaining nimble and flexible within a highly dynamic environment.

A Talent Acquisition Lead serves as the primary recruiting partner for hiring managers within a defined geographic region and collaborates closely with regional leadership, and the Talent Acquisition team to proactively identify and secure top talent. Through thoughtful sourcing strategies, strong relationship management, and disciplined recruiting processes, this role strengthens Dowbbuilt’s reputation as a premier employer and supports the organization’s continued growth and project delivery excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Regional Talent Delivery
Outcome: Ensure projects within assigned region are staffed with qualified talent to support operational goals and project demands.
Accountabilities:

  • Partner with regional principals, hiring managers, and Talent Acquisition Manager to understand workforce needs and define successful candidate profiles.
  • Lead regular regional staffing calls to review hiring needs, prioritize requisitions, and align recruiting strategies.
  • Manage an active portfolio of open requisitions while maintaining steady candidate pipelines for critical roles.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to structure competitive and compliant offers within established compensation ranges.
  • Extend offers, negotiate terms when appropriate, and guide candidates through the final stages of hiring.


Strategic Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
Outcome: Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines to ensure a steady flow of qualified talent for both current and future hiring needs.
Accountabilities:

  • Source candidates through multiple channels including professional networks, recruiting platforms, industry groups, and referrals.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to passive candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective candidates, past applicants, and industry professionals.
  • Participate in and represent Dowbuilt at relevant career fairs, networking events, and industry gatherings.
  • Support development and refinement of Dowbuilt’s internship and early-career recruiting programs.


Recruitment Operations & Candidate Experience
Outcome: Maintain efficient, compliant, and well-organized recruiting processes that provide a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
Accountabilities:

  • Work with Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage job postings, candidate records, and recruiting workflows within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Conduct candidate pre-screening to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment.
  • Ensure application and resume records are maintained in accordance with company policy and applicable employment regulations.
  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment screening requirements within the TA Specialist.
  • Communicate benefits, policies, and onboarding expectations to candidates in a clear and professional manner.
  • Provide timely updates to candidates and hiring teams regarding hiring decisions.


Recruiting Analytics & Continuous Improvement
Outcome: Use recruiting data and market insight to refine strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
Accountabilities:

  • Monitor candidate feedback, declined offers, and referral activity to identify opportunities to strengthen recruiting effectiveness.
  • Research and introduce innovative sourcing approaches to reach talent in emerging markets or specialized trades.


Employer Brand & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Outcome: Strengthen Dowbuilt’s reputation as an employer of choice while supporting collaborative recruiting efforts across the organization.
Accountabilities:

  • Partner with the marketing team to support recruiting campaigns and employer brand initiatives.
  • Represent Dowbuilt professionally in all candidate and industry interactions.
  • Collaborate with fellow TA Manager to support hiring across regions when needed.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal applicants and support internal mobility processes when appropriate.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Required Education, Experience & Competencies
Education & Experience
  • At least 2 years of construction industry recruiting experience for both skilled trades and construction leadership roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional recruiting experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and hiring across multiple job levels.
  • Familiarity with construction, architecture, and/or project-based industries is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Strong working knowledge of recruiting platforms and job boards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common business software applications.
  • Experience with analytics and recruiting metrics preferred.

Compensation Range:
The base pay range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. 

New hires typically start below the midpoint of the range, with the opportunity for growth and advancement over time.
