Digital Construction Manager
Location: Dowbuilt main office: 207 S. Horton Street, Seattle, WA 98134
Job Description: The Digital Construction Manager will be responsible for directing and overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the Digital Construction team. Accountable for the success of Digital Construction team engagements across company projects in conjunction with other Digital Construction Managers. Meet the expectations of Dowbuilt quality, accuracy, and timeliness while delivering exceptional customer service to all project stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, internal Dowbuilt teams, and external design, consulting, and sub-contractor teams. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration and in doing so, maintain a competitive advantage within Dowbuilt’s preconstruction offerings. Continually explore research and development opportunities to increase efficiency, precision, and speed at various levels for both build projects and internal systems. Partner with Regional and Project Principals on business development to effectively build relationships and differentiate Dowbuilt through this innovation arm of the company. Grow and sustain a national team of digital construction professionals who can continue to innovate and build upon the competitive advantage the DCT creates for Dowbuilt. Position reports to worksite location, however, the incumbent can work from home anywhere in the United States. Pay Range: $148,533 - $185,000

Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Project Engineer or related, in residential design/construction. Must possess 3 years of experience with all of the
following: (a) leading bid analysis for excavation using Rhino, Grasshopper, and Civil 3D; (b) conducting BIM-based quantity take-offs and coordinating conflict resolution for mechanical and plumbing systems using Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud; (c) managing the development of BIM models by external agencies to coordinate across Architecture, MEP, Structural and Civil disciplines; (d) developing shop drawings and assembly schedules for prefabricating using Revit Plugin, AGACAD; (e) conducting LiDAR scans and creating as-built models for remodels in Revit and Rhino; (f) collaborating with architects to develop as-built models in Revit to LOD 350 for design development; (g) and all of the following: Dynamo scripting languages and processes; Adobe Creative Suite; reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications; architecture modeling; structural modeling; Revit MEPF modeling; civil modeling; 3D Scanning, as-built Software, and point-cloud handling; R&D cycle and process; data automation and analytics; and Smartsheet.
