Summer Intern

(Multiple states)
Internship
General
Student (College)

Dowbuilt offers mutually beneficial, 10-week summer internship experiences for current college students in construction management and architecture, as well as home service, operations, HR, and accounting. Interviewing for these positions typically begins in April and the number and type of openings each summer varies by project/office location. Internships typically begin the first week in June and run through the first week in August.

Goals of the Dowbuilt Internship Program
For the Intern:

  • Add hands-on experience to your resume;
  • Gain insight into the high-end residential niche of the construction industry;
  • Apply classroom skills to real-life professional situations;
  • Build additional relevant skills;
  • Develop a network of contacts;
  • Confirm whether this career path is a good fit for you and your interests long term;
  • Identify further areas of interest;
  • Potentially land a full-time job post-graduation.
For Dowbuilt:
  • Brand awareness in new locations/schools/communities;
  • Develop relationships with motivated, high-achieving students in the construction management, architecture, and management fields;
  • Pave the way for potential new employees (we like to think of an internship as a 10-week interview!);
  • Boost productivity – interns can assist with projects or tasks we haven’t had the bandwidth to get off the ground;
  • Get outside perspective on how to improve our onboarding experience, processes, etc.
  • Give current employees a chance to be mentors and apply their leadership, management, and delegation skills.

Submit your resume (including an introduction letter) here, highlighting the type of internship (construction management, home service, operations, marketing, HR, accounting, etc.), and your top location of interest. If you are being referred to us, please be sure to mention that person and/or company by name.

Should your qualifications match up with a current summer internship opportunity, someone will be in contact with you.

THANK YOU for your interest in interning with Dowbuilt!
